Leah's Senior Portrait Session

Leah is a senior at Lake Orion High. As a member of the band, she wanted to make sure we got some shots with her and her flute. As a girl with an eye for fashion, she also wanted to get some studio shots. We made it all happen by taking a few shots in my studio with a clean gray backdrop before heading to Cranbrook to have some outdoor photos taken. Leah looked phenomenal and we had a great time during the session.

Katie and Andrew's Engagement Session

Katie and Andrew met in Kalamazoo, Michigan where they both attended Western University. They both eventually went on to become lawyers in the Metro Detroit area and got engaged shortly after Katie passed her bar exam. The two make a perfect pair, with Andrew's good looks and Katie's brains (it could be the other way around, I'm not sure). In any event, its plain to see that they're the best of friends and make a great couple.

Santana Family Portrait Session

I met the Santana family on a beautiful July day at Kensington MetroPark. Krista had her family ready to roll in their matching blue and white clothes. As a general rule of thumb, I suggest family wardrobes to be the same color, but not necessarily exactly the same shade or pattern. I think the Santanas nailed it and their pictures turned out great!

Christina and Andrew's Engagement Session

Christina and Andrew were an insanely cute couple. The two grew up not far from Kensington Park and they both enjoyed biking there, so it seemed an obvious choice for their engagement session. If you haven't had the opportunity to visit Kensington MetroPark, I highly suggest you make the time. The place is HUGE and is a nature photographer's dream come true. We were able to get some great shots of Christina and Andrew near the lake and they showed me a fantastic boardwalk near the nature preserve. I can't wait for their wedding!
