Tricia and Russ' Engagement Session

Tricia and Russ were an unexpected surprise. These two had a great sense of style and weren't afraid to have some fun with different locations for our engagement shoot. Even though we only had an hour for our session, we managed to get some different shots while staying around the old train depot downtown. I especially loved Tricia's idea to go into the old house that had burnt down. Who loves Detroit? These guys... One of my favorite engagement shoots of the season!

Siddiqui Family Portrait Session

Muhammad contacted me to set up a family portrait session as a surprise gift for his wife. The two were actually celebrating their 10 year anniversary and wanted to have photographs taken of them with their kids in and around Detroit. We settled on some great spots including Belle Isle, Campus Martius and Comerica Park. I had a great time running around the city with the Siddiqui's and hope to see them again in the future.

Stover Family Portrait Session

Abby, Jeff, George and Emilie met me at a park near their home in Pleasant Ridge. It was a sunny day and the flowers were in full bloom. Basically, we couldn't have asked for better weather. George and his sister were adorable, as most kids are, and Abby and Jeff did a great job helping me to get the kids to pose for the camera. I think we got several wonderful photos, especially considering it was only an hour long session!

Lyndsey and Ken's Wedding

Lyndsey and Ken had a beautiful ceremony on a warm August's day at the Rock Church in Fenton, Michigan. Lyndsey's sisters and friends helped decorate the church before the ceremony while Ken and Lyndsey got ready for their big day. Both Lyndsey and Ken had children from previous relationships so the day was not only about their wedding, but the joining of their two families. It was easy to see how in the love the two of them are.
