Rick and Mai are a couple that met while Rick was working in Thailand. They two fell in love and decided to get married. In fact, they were already married when they contacted me to photograph their wedding. You see, Rick and Mai had a small wedding initially, but wanted to have a ceremony and reception for their friends and family in Michigan. So plans were put into motion and the two were able to book the Environmental Discovery Center at Indian Springs Metropark in White Lake Township for their wedding. I had never photographed a wedding at Indian Springs before, but the location was absolutely beautiful. Mai's family traveled all the way from Thailand to be at the wedding and the two families were able to get to know one another a little better. The ceremony was perfect and the venue had plenty of beautiful locations to get fantastic formal portraits. While the weather was overcast for part of the day, we still managed to get shots that are stunning (not hard when the Bride is gorgeous). It was a great wedding to close out the wedding season.
