Megan and Jon's Wedding

We had been looking forward to shooting Jon and Megan's wedding for what seems like an eternity. Kel and I met them at our first bridal show and immediately hit it off. We had a great engagement session at Eastern Market (Meg's favorite place in the city and where Jon popped the question) and then went for "Engagement Session Part II: Electric Boogaloo" up in the Bruce Peninsula (where Meg and Jon fell in love). When the big day finally came, everything went better than planned. While the weather called for rain, not a drop poured until after the outdoor ceremony and formal portraits were finished. The two have unbelievable taste, and it showed as soon as you walked into the ballroom at the Dearborn Inn where the reception was held. Kel and I feel incredibly blessed to have met Meg and Jon and we're super pumped that they tied the knot!

Chelsea and Jeremy's Engagement Session

Chelsea and Jeremy are a really cute couple. They're huge Red Wings fans, so of course, the first stop during our session was the Joe Louis Arena in downtown Detroit. There was an event going on at the Joe, so we couldn't shoot on premises, but we managed to get some great shots outside the Joe and some on the riverwalk as well. Afterward, we drove to Belle Isle and got some fantastic shots near the river that runs through the island. Kel and I are really looking forward to photographing their wedding next year!

Danielle and David's Engagement Session

Danielle and David are really awesome peeps. Couples that fish together and root for the Lions together, stay together. Danielle decided she wanted to shoot at Mill Race Village in Northville, but unfortunately, the venue had two weddings going on during our session so we improvised and shot in the park surrounding Mill Race Village. I think the photos turned out great and I'm really looking forward to photographing their wedding next year!
